South London music and design collective, Studio Black have just dropped this sublime chilled banger on independent record label 37 Adventures. Taken from the label’s forthcoming compilation (featuring JONES, salute, Blakey) in August celebrating their 100th release, the track is a collaboration with fellow label artist Emily Burns and was created with upcoming producer Nastylgia (Not3s, Nadia Rose) and biLLLy (Suzi Wu, Lao Ra). By weaving Scandipop-like production with the dance-pop savviness of Chainsmokers and the grittiness of London’s urban scene, Friends Don’t Kiss Friends is an infectious dose of modern pop. Destined for new pop playlists, this is another glorious release from a label who have accrued over 200m combined streams and know how to find and develop exciting new talent in the UK.
