We say

Premiered on NPR yesterday, Rainbows is the first new music from Norway’s indie-rock band Beezewax since their 2016 EP, Out of the Window. Released today and drawing on influences from Television’s Marquee Moon, the track is a breezy guitar-pop anthem that combines the melodic pop precision of Phoenix with the feel-good indie nature of Doves and the energy of Superchunk. This track, taken from their forthcoming album due later this year and produced by lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Kenneth Ishak, is the perfect introduction to the new chapter in their 20-year career. Definitely suitable for upbeat indie-rock playlists and, with the right push at radio, it wouldn't surprise us to hear this on 6Music or Radio X. Q Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, and The 405 are among their admirers and the track was featured today on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist for Norway. The band will be touring the UK next month including a show in London at The Finsbury and will be supporting American alt-rock stalwarts Buffalo Tom across Europe in November.
