Premiered by Clash earlier this week, Hideout is the forthcoming new single from Bristol-based singer-songwriter Natalie Holmes. Powered by the honey toned and lilting vocals of Natalie, the track is a beautiful and expansive number, which soars gracefully over gorgeous piano-led melodies, rich acoustic instrumentation and vibrant electronic flourishes to its emphatic end. Produced by Matthew Cotterill, Hideout is an invigorating listen with echoes of Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Lucy Rose and Lauren Aquilina. It's perfect for inclusions to chilled pop, tender and new music playlists at streaming services upon release. Her previous EP’s have all featured in iTunes Top 10 singer-songwriter charts, whilst her music has also featured on Made in Chelsea and in a nationwide TV advert for a well known American ice cream. She has supported the likes of Gabrielle Aplin, Lewis Watson and Sam Brookes earlier in her career, as well as garnering tastemaker support from the BBC Introducing and Sofar Sounds. This is a vibrant and rich return for an artist who has rekindled her love for songwriting.
