Grabbing your attention right from the start with its smooth, blissed-out vibe, Say So by Verschieden, a five-piece from Birmingham, is undoubtedly one of the most feel good tunes we have heard this summer. Oozing soulful harmonies and uplifting melodies that are reminiscent of modern funk-pop masters, Pharrell and Bruno Mars, Verschieden have produced something special. Comprising of Matthew Parnell, Craig Thompson, Ashleigh Hepburn, Jayvian Wickham and Corey K the band have been producing and self-releasing music since the end of 2016. They recently sold out their debut Birmingham show and headlined the Birmingham City FC player awards show. This weekend will see them playing the BBC Introducing stage at the Reading and Leeds festival after being heavily supported by BBC Introducing West Midlands. So, if you are in attendance make sure you check them out and be prepared to break out some moves as the vibes take you over.
