We say

Get to know enthralling new indie/folk band Up Down Go Machine. Their bluesy acoustic guitar strumming catches fire with belting vocals echoing in size with Rag'n'Bone Man, Guy Garvey or perhaps even Kings Of Leon’s Caleb Followill. The four piece hailing from Wales via Lincolnshire and Kent are fast gathering momentum with a strong showing on the live circuit. They already have multiple BBC Introducing slots, sell-out shows at Bush Hall, Starsailor supports and Isle Of Wight Festival appearances under their belts. Gambler is inspired by the epic gangster movies of the '80s and '90s. A snarling track about a man whose addiction has taken him to the dark side. Get down to Cargo this Friday (18 August) for the official single launch and see them soon with Sofar Sounds too. Radio play isn't lagging either with a huge fan already in Radio 2’s Tim Johns so expect to hear Gambler on air and online everywhere soon.
