We say

Just 19 years old and hailing from Brighton, Fable has notched up 90,000 Soundcloud plays in a month for this track, as our love for menacing, edgy synth-based sounds show no sign of waning. This imposing beast of a tune is one of three tracks from her debut EP Parasite, exploring dark and fascinating thoughts on how we live today and our place in the world. Sounds heavy, but the melody here shines through gloriously. It's co-written and produced by acclaimed trip-hop collective Archive and she's also been working with Paul Hartnoll from Oribital on his forthcoming album as well as collaborating with Russell Lissack from Bloc Party. There's a wealth of steely, detached icy-cold electro pop knocking about right now, of course, but we reckon this has an enviable vocal edge over many of the over-hyped also-rans. Fable is an exciting new discovery that has us salivating for more immediately.
Forthcoming live London dates are at The Finsbury on October 28 and the Dublin Castle on November 20.
