Lying Around

Cassette Kids hit the UK for a series of London shows next week. It comes on the back of a lot of activity after touring their native Australia with The Presets and with Lily Allen (at her request). Lying Around was the set-up single for their first album 'Nothing on TV', made with engineer Richard Wilkinson (The Magic Numbers, Hot Chip) and producer/Van She band member Michael DiFrancesco. It's set to be released later this year in Australia, and is still available to sign over here. It's at the quality end of electro-pop acts that Australia seems to produce a wealth of these days. There has been plenty of online activity on them already, with UK coverage coming from Popjustice, who made it a song of the day. They go on a US tour next month before performing at SXSW. JF Video.
