We've long been fans of Finnish band Rubik, featuring City and the Streets in 2007. Their second album Dada Bandits has just been released in Scandinavia and Germany on Fullsteam Records with a US and Canada release and tour to follow in September. Reviews across Europe have been positive, with the comparisons to Animal Collective, Flaming Lips and TV On The Radio among others. Their dense yet melodic sound, as demonstrated on Wasteland, is quite unique though - the album is a thrilling listen and they're just as captivating live.
