We say

Already an indie-folk artist of some renown and popularity in the US following syncs on shows like Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill, William Fitzsimmons is now gathering interest over here too. His album Goodnight comes out on a new label venture set up by hi-fi manufacturer Naim (they will give away a high-definition free download of another of his songs next week). And as for the album, Paul Lester of The Guardian gets it right: 'as chronicles of death, debility and the degeneration of a relationship go, Fitzsimmons's album Goodnight makes Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago sound like Kylie's Fever'. An affecting personal story and some very pretty, subtly- pitched songs like this make him worth paying attention to. Recent London gigs proved popular with radio people and Tom Robinson has been giving early plays on 6Music. JF. Video.
