LA band Glacier Hiking is the brainchild of singer Ross Golan and the Tommy Walter (previously of Abandoned Pools, Eels). Although they have collaborated for a few years, they've only just put together a full band and put out their first release, 'The Color By Number EP'. Early support from OneRepublic singer and noted songwriter Ryan Tedder (who sings the hook on this track) and early press from Kevin Bronson of the LA Times' Buzz Bands and A&R blog Crazed Hits has helped raise their profile. Their live show is gaining a reputation in LA too, catch them at the BMI showcase at SXSW. This is accomplished, anthemic, radio-friendly rock.
