Carlis Star first impressed us at ITC and things have been picking up nicely for them since we featured them back in November. They're playing SXSW (on one bill with fellow RotD favourites Ed Harcourt and Ben's Brother), and will follow that with a full list of UK dates including the Club NME tour. They also self-release Hereby No One as a single, which in demo form had Radio 1 airplay from Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens. It's catchy and solid debut and we really recommend catching them live.
