Mark Brown's re-working of Elena Kats-Chernin's 'Eliza Aria,' as used in the Lloyds TSB TV commercial, has been bubbling under since late last year. Now the track is being released with an added vocal from Saint Etienne's Sarah Cracknell. Spearheaded by Mark Brown's manager Ben Turner in conjunction with classical publishers Boosey & Hawkes, it's shaping up to properly cross over. The track is currently on the R1 B List, MTV Dance A list and has had good support over Christmas from Capital FM, The Box and Chart Show TV - more are sure to come on board before its February release. We stick by our statement when first featured an earlier version in October - "an intelligent dance makeover of a brilliant piece of music". Watch the video here. JFContact
