Californian quartet The Little Ones release Ordinary Song as the lead single from their full debut album for Heavenly. Ordinary Song is a gem which has that whimsical Americana pop sound reminiscent of both The Shins and The Magic Numbers. The album, Morning Tide, follows on from the critical success of Sing Song, their mini-album which was released here earlier this year to praise from Pitchfork, NME and The Independent. The Guardian's Jude Rogers said they were "musical bubblegum at its brightest and best". UK performances in the summer at Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds saw the band build their fanbase in a year which has also seen them play the NME New Bandââ¬â¢s Tour and support Kaiser Chiefs on their arena tour.
