Freerunner are an indie-pop trio with occasional ska flavourings from Newcastle. Lie Lie Lie jumped out on first listen as a refreshing twist on the indie-guitar formula. They released their debut double A-side "She Get It/Friday, Don't Need It" on Label Fandango last month. Reaction was strong - it was XFM playlisted with plays on all XFM stations, it was also added at Virgin Extreme, and enjoyed radio play regionally and internationally (through the British Council-backed Selector Radio show). With more than 50,000 plays on MySpace and a large Facebook presence, the band have also topped the 7Digital Indie Store charts. Signed for publishing by Michael Morley at Zomba (who signed Daft Punk, M.I.A., Jamie T, Mystery Jets etc.), Freerunner have strong support shows and showcase slots behind them and interest is gathering ahead of their ITC show.
