Latvian four piece pop rockers Detlef Zoo were featured on RotD last month just before their Popkomm appearance. We knew they had Radio hits in their home country and Funny Girl sounded like something that could work over here. "An ironic and delightfully naive sting in the lyrics that we find endearing", we wrote. Off the back of our feature, Tom Robinson gave it a spin on 6Music and we're sure it's worthy of wider support. They worked with Andy Gill (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Young Knives, Futureheads) on their second album and the results are well worth paying attention to. Detlef Zoo are available for other territories.
