One of our favourite tracks from Cold War Kids' album Robbers & Cowards, We Used To Vacation is getting a welcome release almost a year after we first featured it. The album has sales of over 45,000, and was welcomed with widespread critical acclaim with NME declaring them "The best new band in America today". One of the best live acts we've seen this year, they will play a UK tour in October supported by Montreal's Patrick Watson (also great live, and one of our highlights from SXSW '07).
