The plot is building on Newton Faulkner, an artist we've been supporting since 2005. We then said that he has elements of Jack Johnson and is a lot closer to becoming his UK equivalent with each new release. The first track serviced to radio "I Need Something" was playlisted by Radio One (the previous EP's were not serviced to media, but despite this the UFO EP sold 8,000 copies). "Dream Catch Me" has a distinctly bigger sound, and is better for it. It's also the track that George Ergatoudis from Radio 1 played as his pick on the radio panel at Musexpo in LA recently. Jo Whiley has also championed Newton, putting him on at her Union Chapel gig, giving him airplay, and he has also just appeared on her VH1 show.
