When we first featured Vancouver-based The Thurston Revival earlier this month we had a wholly positive reaction. This is a flip-side of the bluesy track we featured last time and it’s a quality track that bears repeated listens. We were at his In The City gig and this song made for a truly mesmerising finale. A review of that show on the BBC website was similarly impressed: "..a voice like a melancholic Nina Simone on a really dark day, he makes you actually want to listen, as opposed just blocking out all other sound due to officious amplification."
