Since we featured The Voom Blooms, their young career has gone up a gear or two. Steve Lamacq came to their first London show two weeks ago (which was only their thirteenth in total). He loved them. He has played them on Radio 1 and 6Music several times since, and featured them as his "new favourite band". They're supporting Boy Kill Boy and Babyshambles this month, then heading off on a Club NME tour. Next comes the single release, and we're expecting a major record deal to come very soon.
