Daniel is from British Columbia. Bad Day has been #1 airplay across Europe, #1 chart in France, Belgium, Holland, and top 10 in Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Poland and Austria. Also it's #1 most added at radio in Canada and #1 most added across all formats in Australia. We assumed Daniel must be a TV talent show contestant but we have been able to find no evidence of this. Perhaps Bad Day is simply breaking on the merit of the song. It's a very good song - maybe even good enough to break in the UK.
