His cover of The Clash's Janie Jones will at the very least make your ears prick up and might just make your jaw drop. When we featured it last, Songdog were looking for a new label having put their debut album out on Evangeline. Now they've found that label in One Little Indian, and their album is due out on June 27. Janie Jones is on there in what sounds like a new version, but it's still magic. Songdog are supporting The Go-Betweens on their UK tour including Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 14, and they're headlining London's Spitz on July 19.Contact
