So many MOR, jazz lite and pop classical projects either sound dated, or sound like they were made by people who can't make records, or can't be bothered making records very well... or all three. Patrizio's music is entirely nostalgic, yet it seems to celebrate the past rather than regurgitating it. Like his first single Il Mondo, the opening two bars alone have more energy and spirit than whole albums by his peers. This month's Patrizio itinerary includes GMTV, Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women, Hell's Kitchen and two live recordings for Radio 2.
