Libertines singles just get better and better and this one epitomizes all that's great about them. Tracks that are concise, increasingly melodic yet edgy (overused word but it's the right one). That unmistakable vocal. Rough Trade client Bernard Butler produced it. There's even a reference to top London indie disco Death Disco in the lyrics. We suspect some people dislike this band just because the NME love them and they're British. This single should force a rethink. Meanwhile the album looks set to go gold in the UK.
