We say

‘Problems In My Head’ is a stark, emotionally exposed new single from Auckland-based artist WHO SHOT SCOTT. Built on warped synths, punchy drums, and an unfiltered vocal, the track traces his earliest experiences with panic attacks and therapy. With hints of Twenty One Pilots, it’s an eerily compelling introduction to his 2026 output. The single premiered on Craig Charles’ BBC Radio 6 Music show, following late-2025 singles ‘French Fever’ and ‘LFTBU’, which received the same support. Further backing has come via 6 Music’s New Music Fix, alongside tastemaker praise from Wordplay, Under The Radar, and others. Watch the accompanying video, directed by longtime collaborator Connor Pritchard, here. With past highlights including Rolling Stone Australia’s Top 8 New Zealand Artists Tipped to Take Over, two APRA Silver Scroll nominations, a four-week #1 NZ College Radio Network run with ‘Loners Anthem’, and growing international radio and sync support, WHO SHOT SCOTT enters 2026 with momentum. With more releases ahead and a newly announced UK tour in May, ‘Problems In My Head’ signals the start of a defining year.
