WE SAY
Singer Billy McCarthy puts his heart on his sleeve in this beautiful song, which is as heart breaking as it is superbly delivered. Following the success of RotD featured debut Book Of James, Chapel Song is picking up strong playlisting five weeks ahead of release; B-listed on 6Music, Xfm and NME, on the New To Q list, and receiving Radio 2 support from Dermot O'Leary and Jo Whiley. It also picked up its first Radio 1 play from Zane Lowe last night. Amongst a spate of European tour dates with The Maccabees, the band play two sold out HMV Next Big Thing gigs, before going on to the US with a Band Of Skulls tour in March, they also play SXSW and are booked for Coachella in April. We Are Augustines' debut album Rise Ye Sunken Ships is out the same week as Chapel Song and has already received strong praise, including US iTunes Alternative Album Of 2011. Video.
