Childish Gambino represents the future of hip-hop. His lyrics are powerful and communicative, and with deft production from long-term collaborator Ludwig Göransso, last year's LP Camp was met with widespread critical acclaim. NME called it “hip hop album of the year”, joining plaudits from the likes of The Guardian and The Times who both made it album of the week. In America, Gambino is signed to Glassnote, home to Mumford & Sons and Phoenix. The album debuted at No.2 on iTunes, amongst a whirlwind of support he has now been on David Letterman (watch his performance), Jimmy Fallon and Conan’s shows. All The Shine is set for release around his sold out UK debut shows, which come ahead of next single Heartbeat. AKA Donald Glover, this incredible talent is better known for his acting, comedy and writing in the US, starring in NBC’s Community, writing for Saturday Night Live, and highlighted by Rolling Stone as one of America’s best young comedians. Forbes listed him in their 30 Under 30 feature, cementing Donald Glover’s status as one of the most excited figures in the industry.
