Fresh from a riotous end to 2011, Niki & The Dove are starting 2012 with a bang in the run up to next single DJ Ease My Mind. The track was added straight to the Xfm daytime playlist, six weeks ahead of release. The Swedish goth-pop duo have got a cover feature lined up on Notion, having already been featured in NME, Observer, Times, and a Q 'Track Of The Day' last Monday (9th). This fresh wave of buzz comes in light of shortlistings on both the BBC 'Sound of 2012' - eventually coming 5th - and iTunes 'Artists Of 2012'. Last single Mother Protect was added to the Radio 1 INMWT playlist where they had massive support from Fearne Cotton, Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe. This brilliant single represents pop at its purist, tribal and unforgettable. With support at Radio 1 continuing, DJ Ease My Mind looks likely to be their biggest yet. Video.
