From the epic strings to the driving rhythm section, Sound Of Guns' Antarctica is every inch the powerful rock anthem it promises to be. The track has already picked up a sync as the leading song for Sky Sport's 2012 Champions League coverage. The five-piece recently performed to their biggest sold out headline show to date at Liverpool’s O2 Academy to over 1,200 people and now head out on tour with The View. Having been discovered by BBC Introducing, nominated for the 2011 XFM New Music Award and championed by Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Mary Anne Hobbs, it seems 2012 is shaping up to be the breakthrough year for them. A busy summer sees plenty of live highlights including main stage slots at Lounge On The Farm, Chester Rocks and LeeFest plus a headline slot at Playground festival. (Video to B-side Killing Moon).
