Swag-brimming rapper Elro releases mixtape highlight Scrabble, following single Bad News which was Mike Skinner-endorsed all the way to release on his newly relaunched The Beats label. Scrabble is part of his new seven-track mixtape Porcelain Corpse and features grime heavy-weights JME and Manga, with a beat produced by Preditah. Scrabble has had extensive specialist Radio 1 support, including Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World, plus repeat plays from Mistajam, Charlie Sloth and Jen Long. A glut of online support has been led by The Guardian, NME, Noisey, SBTV, Grime Daily and RWD. Newly signed to 679, Elro’s follow up single Real World is released later this month. Video.
