With a track that’s been championed by Charlie Sloth at BBC Radio 1Xtra, JMC returns to follow up his 2014 underground rap anthem Sturridge Dance and it’s another uniquely British twist on what’s really happening at street level musically right now. Based in Shoreditch, his own Vault Studios is rapidly developing into one of London’s most in-demand recording locations with acts like Bashy, 112, ATL, Remy Ma, Tony Matterhorn and Sincere all working there with the Hackney-born producer. His autobiographical debut album Safecracker last year talked vividly of the realities of his upbringing in East London and he’s since worked with US artists Cassidy, Styles P, Sheek Louch as well as Jamaican superstar Sizzla. He’s currently about to release #RW3 (Roadworks 3) featuring this track and there are forthcoming remixes on the way from S.CHU feat Rachel, Sammy P and DJ Pioneer. With TV support from Channel AKA and Flava and radio plays at 1Xtra, expect to hear this new grime anthem blasting out of clubs in Marbella, Ayia Napa and beyond all summer long.
