Following from the success of his cover of She’s Always A Woman, Fyfe Dangerfield releases a Bernard Butler mix of this track from album Fly Yellow Moon. It comes out next month as a double A side with She Needs Me, which was a big airplay hit when it was first released at the start of the year. Barricades, which has just been added to Radio 2's playlist, is another memorable ballad from Fyfe - the melody running through the verses is such a pleasure to listen to - the whole track so well-crafted. Fyfe heads out on his biggest solo UK tour this September and is also working with Guillemots on their next album, scheduled for release next year.
