A colossal hit around Europe, Alors On Danse has been No.1 in 11 countries. It has sold over 1 million copies and is Platinum in 8 markets, spending ten aggregate weeks at No.1 on Billboard's pan-European Hot 100 Singles chart. Stromae's homemade video tutorials advising how to make a hit on YouTube ,‘Les Leçons De Stromae’, of which Alors On Danse is one, became viral hits last year. The video for this track has over 11 million views now. On the back of this single alone, Stromae has sold over 100k albums in France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria . Now a huge climber on the radio, TV and iTunes charts in the UK, this was added to Radio 1’s C List this week and is Record of the Week on Scott Mills (in for Chris Moyles). A brilliant original tune that deserves to replicate its success on the continent over here. Video.
