Yes Please now representing Iona Bielby, creator of Stargazer and announce team updates

Boutique music publicity company Yes Please are thrilled to announce they are now representing Iona Bielby, a rising force in music journalism, content creation, DJing, and presenting. Iona is the creator and visionary behind the YouTube interview series Stargazer. The show features Iona laid down in a comforting and nostalgic homemade-style fort, staring up at stars, waxing lyrical about everything and anything with hotly-tipped musicians.

Series Two, launching today, features an inspiring array of artists, including Nell Mescal, Gao The Arsonist, Genevieve Stokes, SOFY and Finn Foxell. Series One included standout interviews with BIIG PIIG, Erin LeCount, Choe Slater, Willow Kayne, Col3trane, Kojaque, KhakiKid, Nix Northwest, Sainté, Good Neighbours, YT and more. Iona’s thoughtful approach and distinctive aesthetic have led to collaborations with brands and platforms such as Pull & Bear, AWAL x The Great Escape, All Points East, and SLJ Jewellery.

As new media becomes an increasingly vital part of any artist campaign, innovative creators like Iona are helping to reshape how stories are told in this new era. We’re excited to be working with Iona as she continues to make waves across the industry.

Company Founder Ruth Emery alongside running Yes Please has been developing her work in the mental health space within the music industry. Over the past few years, Ruth has worked with a broad range of artists, offering services in wellbeing, mindset and media coaching and confidence-building - particularly in live and media settings.

Whilst the extraordinary levels of pressure that artists feel is well-documented, recent times have exacerbated the many issues they face - including the stresses associated with touring and navigating growing expectations in the digital space, particularly in regards to social media. As the industry evolves, the level of support and accessibility needs to rise to reflect these changes, and this is the driving force behind Ruth's work in this field.

Launched by Ruth Emery in September 2012, Yes Please has since become one of the most trusted and well-renowned PR agencies in the UK. Taking a holistic approach to artist publicity, working campaigns across TV, radio, press, online, podcasts, new media and festivals, Yes Please has built up a diverse and iconic roster including Imogen Heap, who this year celebrated a remarkable UK Top 40 hit with ‘Headlock’ 20 years after its release, Sparks, blur, Arlo Parks, elbow, Laufey, Texas, Frank Turner, The Streets, Wilderness Festival, Greenpeace and many more.
