WMA Announce the Promotion of Shane Hawkins to Head of PR Creative and Media Relations



WMA are delighted to announce the promotion of Shane Hawkins to Head of PR Creative and Media Relations. The promotion follows five years of dedicated service; Shane joined WMA as a founding member of the team in 2013 as Digital Publicity Assistant. He was then promoted to Digital Publicist in 2014 and again to Senior Publicist in 2015.

Reporting into Heather Swaine, Global Publicity Director, Shane’s new role draws on his creative background and extensive editorial experience; working at publications such as Wonderland, Dazed and Disorder Magazine. He will lead on all creative aspects of WMA Publicity, utilising his network of stylists, fashion brands, event organisers and creatives. Shane will also be responsible for leading on further developing WMA’s relationships with media due to his unrivalled contacts within the music and fashion press.
