Volta unveils official collaboration with Pete Tong’s DJ Academy

Industry legend, BBC Radio 1 host and global dance music veteran Pete Tong recognizes the power of this new technology and has handpicked Volta to provide visuals during his back-to-back set with Kölsch at Dalt Vila show.
The show will be live-streamed to Beatport's Twitch channel and will be the first time ever a platform like Volta will be using its very own Twitch Extension. This is something that has never been done in the music industry where the Twitch world is merging with live music, creating immersive co-creative global experiences that are also available to all musicians who want to live stream for free.
Volta will also host its own video course within the Pete Tong curriculum which will teach DJ students how to get the best out of the cutting-edge technology and maximise its potential for their own music careers.
Volta's immersive technology will also be used to provide visuals during a performance of the winner of Tong's competition at Dalt Vila during IMS, and will be used for visuals during broadcasts as part of Tong's newly launched YouTube streaming series. Performances will be streamed on Beatport's Twitch channel and the Twitch Extension will allow global audiences to participate and co-create the show.
