UTA signs Tyga

Leading global talent and entertainment company UTA has signed multiplatinum rapper and global superstar Tyga for worldwide representation in all areas.   

Tyga is one of the music industry’s biggest hitmakers. Over the course of his career, he has released 14 RIAA-certified Platinum records, and 32 songs that have reached the Billboard Top 100. His music has amassed over four billion YouTube views. His single “Taste” featuring Offset went platinum six times over, clinched #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and generated over one billion cumulative streams. His other blockbuster singles include the quadruple-platinum “Rack City,” triple-platinum “Faded,” and double-platinum “Ayo” with Chris Brown, among many others.   

Most recently, he released the single “Ibiza” in June to glowing reviews from critics and fans alike. He co-directed the music video, which has already received over 8.5M views on YouTube. Earlier this year, he released the singles “Bored In The House,” featuring viral TikTok sensation Curtis Roach; “Freak,” a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion; “Ayy Macarena,” a smash hit which has totalled nearly 250 million streams; a remix of “Ayy Macarena” featuring Latin powerhouse Ozuna; and more.   

Tyga will be releasing his next album this fall with Columbia Records. His latest studio album, 2019’s Legendary, debuted at #17 on Billboard’s Hot 200 Albums chart and was certified Gold on the first day of its release. It is now certified Platinum.   

Previously, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for “Deuces,” with Chris Brown and Kevin McCall. He has also been nominated for several BET Awards and World Music Awards.   

On the acting side, he was a series regular on season three of MTV’s hit show Scream: The TV Series.
