Ultra International Music Publishing & Helix Records announce Vanessa Kanapin as Director of A&R for GSA

Ultra International Music Publishing (‘Ultra’) the leading independent publishers of Hip-Hop, Pop, Electronic Dance Music, Jazz and Reggae and sister company Helix Records, the electronic dance music (EDM) specialists,  have appointed Vanessa Kanapin to the position of Director of A&R for Germany , Switzerland & Austria (GSA).

Based in Berlin, Germany Vanessa will report directly to company founder and CEO Patrick Moxey. Her appointment is effective immediately. 

Vanessa joins the company from German independent publisher Budde Music , where she held the title of A&R and Song Plugging Manager and was responsible for a number of high profile signings including Glockenbach, Clock Clock and ÁSDÍS who have dominated the German airplay charts during the last 12 months.

Vanessa will focus on signing artists and songwriters from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and will work closely with  the company’s existing roster in those territories to  maximise commercial opportunities and collaborations via writing camps and co-writes.
