Tom Walker to star as UK Music launch major new report on the health of the music industry

Tom Walker will headline the launch party for UK Music’s revealing new report on the state of the UK music industry which will be unveiled on November 20. 

The singer-songwriter, whose hits include ‘Leave a Light On' and 'Just You and I’, will play a short set before a specially invited audience.

After a highly successful UK headline tour in April and a summer of festival sets, Tom is on a sold-out UK headline tour which kicked off at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

The event in central London is timed to coincide with the launch on November 20 of UK Music’s brand new report - Music By Numbers 2019. 

The report builds on the research documented in UK Music’s forerunner reports Measuring Music and Wish You Were Here. The data collected in those reports has now been expanded and combined into our new Music By Numbers report.

The launch event will also showcase an emerging British artist courtesy of BBC Music Introducing, in line with their commitment to supporting unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar musicians across the UK. The performance will highlight the importance of nurturing the music industry’s talent pipeline to produce the stars of the future.
