Tickets for Good—the leading platform providing free and heavily discounted tickets, bringing together global live events and new audiences—has today announced the launch of its Belgian business and a new funding round of £3m, at the Wallifornia Music+Tech conference in Liège, Belgium, where the company was previously winner of its Startups Pitch Competition in 2023.
In June, Tickets for Good had its first event for Belgian members, providing local healthcare workers the opportunity to attend a Robbie Williams world tour show in Amsterdam. This allocation was made in partnership with the artist and management ie:music with support from Noshaq and LeanSquare specialised investment funds, creative experiences company ikii and Gérôme Vanherf, and CSD Liège (part of Solidaris network) home health assistance services. The show was a success, with Robbie Williams delivering a two-hour performance to thrilled Belgian healthcare workers.
With a tailored platform and a French-speaking local team, the Belgian TfG office is based at La Grand Poste, joining a hub in the area that supports social innovation and has strong ties to Wallifornia and LeanSquare, within a country boasting a world-class live events scene, particularly in music festivals.
Following its success on the 2023 Wallifornia accelerator programme and the subsequent successful launch of the Tickets for Good Netherlands office announced early 2025, the TfG Belgian launch is part of its Benelux territory plan, supported by LeanSquare.
Tickets for Good has also announced the opening of its new £3 million funding round, which will serve to continue to accelerate its international expansion in Belgium and beyond.
New and returning music-related event partners joining in 2025 include Melody Garden, Phoenix Arts Club, Pixies, Robbie Williams, Sherelle, The Sun Festival, and Yungblud.
Stephen Rimmer, Founder and CEO of Tickets for Good, says: "Returning to Wallifornia to announce our launch in Belgium feels like a full-circle moment. Winning the 'Startup of the Year' Pitch here in 2023 helped open doors across Europe, and now, with a dedicated local team and strong early momentum, we're proud to be bringing the Tickets for Good model to new communities. This is just the beginning of our wider European rollout—connecting even more people doing good with the power of live events."
Bertrand Joiret, Senior Investment Manager at LeanSquare adds: "Leansquare invested in Tickets for Good based on the strength of its technology, the proven experience of its leadership team, and its strong growth potential. The company aligns with our investment criteria and fits squarely within our entertainment-focused investment thesis. Its presence in Liège further reinforces Leansquare's commitment to fostering the local creative ecosystem."
This update comes as Tickets for Good celebrates exponential growth in the first half of 2025, reaching the milestone of one million tickets distributed and approaching 500,000 registered users across its UK, EU, and U.S. businesses on its platform.
It announced the appointment of Derek DeVeaux as Global Chief Operating Officer in May 2025, along with new appointments to its UK office and promotions to global roles, as the company continues to secure investment and roll out international expansion plans.
Following the growth of its US operation and launch of Tickets for Good in the Netherlands in January 2025, TfG ambassador Robbie Williams was joined by new TfG ambassador and football legend Edwin van der Sar in April at the Johan Cruijff Arena, announcing his ambassadorship and the donation of tickets to Robbie's 2025 tour date at the Amsterdam venue for TFG users. In March 2025, Tickets for Good featured among the first graduate cohort of the inaugural BPI 'Grow Music' programme in collaboration with Abbey Road REDD, Anthony David King, and London & Partners. The 12-week accelerator supported high-potential companies through intensive mentoring, networking, and strategic development.
TfG also participated in the UK Government Ministerial Round Table discussion on secondary ticketing with Ministers Madders and Minister Bryant, and the Departments for Culture, Media and Sport, Business and Trade. TFG CEO Steve Rimmer was spotlighted in an interview with UK Business and Trade for North America, in association with the Department for Business and Trade.
Tickets for Good is actively seeking live event partners across music, theatre, and sports to provide access to underutilised ticket inventory and is inviting healthcare employers to partner, enabling their staff to benefit from free tickets. The platform collaborates closely with ticketing retailers rather than competing with them and is open to working with new distribution and fulfilment partners. Additionally, there are sponsorship opportunities for brands and philanthropic avenues for organisations wishing to donate tickets.
