The Qube launch 10,000 sq ft member's studio Qube East in East London on Friday

The Qube, London's members only sanctuary for musicians and creators launches its second site today, Qube East.

Based in the newly developed Wood Wharf site adjacent to Canary Wharf, Qube East promises 10,000 square feet of studio heaven. The Qube is the first member’s studio for content creators. Qube East is launched following the opening of its first site Qube West in December 2022, as they continue their mission to create a global network of sanctuaries for creatives.

Situated in London’s newest district Wood Wharf, developed from the historic West India Docks, Qube East will feature 24 purpose-built professional spaces. That includes 15 recording studios (one of which is a Dolby Atmos spatial audio suite), 3 DJ studios, 2 rehearsal studios, a podcast studio, video editing suite and an all-in-one content creating suite. Qube East is 5 minutes from the new Elizabeth Line station at Canary Wharf which is now a 12 minute journey to Tottenham Court Road.

Qube East’s content studios are fully automated including built in cameras, lighting and microphones to enable you to stream, film, edit and then at the touch of a button receive your files via email. After work, the focal point will be the private members bar and lounge, open 24/7 and stocked with a full range of alcoholic beverages, barista-made coffee and an outdoor terrace – the perfect place to unwind after a session and hang out. Membership options start at £75 + VAT per month for a flexible membership and range up to a Resident membership starting at £1,100 + VAT per month. Studio’s can be booked by-the-hour and up to a month in advance via The Qube app or website.

Members experience a consistent high quality across Qube East and the original site Qube West - whose 22,000 sqft hosts 40 studios, and 350 members; a curated community of musicians, producers, podcasters, YouTubers, artists, photographers celebrating diversity and inclusivity. Existing Qube West members can request to upgrade to a multi-site membership for an additional 10% per month on their membership fee.

The Qube’s offering reflects changes in the way society works; from portfolio careers where you aren’t going to one business premises 40 hours a week, to the growth of the creator economy  and the need to record professional video or audio without access to an organisation’s facilities, The Qube is making space affordable and flexible. At the same time, for those feeling isolated or frustrated creating at home, it's a creative playground away from home for a tribe of like-minded people to collaborate and have fun. The membership board selects a diverse and complementary mix, where connections and creative growth can happen. Having raised two rounds of seed funding across 2020 and 2021, The Qube plans to expand access to its experience globally.
