The Other Songs & The Orchard Appointed to Handle Management and Distribution of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Recording Catalogue
19 November 2025 - Press releaseLW Entertainment confirms the appointment of the independent record label, The Other Songs, to manage Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music catalogue, one of the most enduring and popular in the world. The Other Songs will manage both back catalogue and new music releases in partnership with The Orchard, the world's leading global music distribution, artist and label services company, who will oversee music distribution across Lloyd Webber’s body of work.
The Other Songs, founded by Alastair and Billy Webber, and The Orchard have worked with LW Entertainment (formerly The Really Useful Group) on recent new releases, including a UK Number 1 cast album for SUNSET BLVD., featuring Nicole Scherzinger, and a UK Number 1 single of EVITA’S “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, featuring Rachel Zegler.
The label recently released the EVITA cast album, which garnered a million streams in 24 hours and saw Zegler embark on a press run, including The Graham Norton Show, a stunning performance on Strictly Come Dancing, plus interviews on This Morning and BBC Radio 1. At the end of October, the Lloyd Webber catalogue hit its biggest-ever single-day streaming peak, fuelled by viral Phantom of the Opera TikTok trends. More than 200,000 original Halloween-week fan creations racked up hundreds of millions of impressions across social media platforms.
The Other Songs is a global independent music company with the song at the heart of everything they do. Founded by two brothers, Alastair and Billy Webber, their roster spans records, publishing and management.
Firmly established as an alternative home for artist and songwriter development, The Other Songs manage some of the world’s most distinguished catalogues, including timeless works such as “I Feel Love”and “Hot Stuff”.
Alongside this legacy, they continue to deliver contemporary global hits across a range of genres, from Endor’s 5× Platinum “Pump It Up” and SUPER-Hi’s 3× Platinum and 500+ million streamed “Following the Sun” to Ren’s groundbreaking UK No.1 album Sick Boi. This year alone, the label generated 200+ billion views on social media, 500+ million streams, and £1m+ in physical sales.
The Other Songs believe songwriters are the beating heart of the music industry. To showcase this, they have curated more than twenty live events, raising £125k+ for charity, at venues including KOKO and The London Palladium, giving songwriters the stage to perform their songs and share the stories behind them. Past performers include RAYE, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Tom Odell, Rodney Jerkins, AR Rahman, Mick Fleetwood, Bernie Taupin and many more.
Andrew Lloyd Webber said:
“I am very excited that The Other Songs will be partnering with me to represent my past and future recording work. After the success of their albums of Starlight Express, SUNSET BLVD and EVITA, I am thrilled that we will now have an exclusive long term relationship. The Other Songs' mission to doggedly champion songwriters, at a time when they have and are being treated as second class citizens in the music industry, has hugely resonated with me. I am really looking forward to working with the new artists the collaboration will bring me at a time when I am writing as much if not more than I ever have.”
Alastair Webber, Co-founder, The Other Songs, said:
“Over the past year, over 4.5 million people have seen an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, reflecting the sheer scale and global cultural impact of his work. Our focus now is to ensure Andrew’s recording catalogue connects with new generations, while also giving him the tools to collaborate with today’s leading songwriters, producers and artists."
“Following the success of SUNSET BLVD and EVITA, we’re very proud to announce a deeper partnership with Andrew and the forward-thinking teams at LW Entertainment and The Orchard, as we continue to build on one of the most uniquely positioned and best-known privately owned music catalogues in the world.”
