The Molotovs sign global publishing deal with Notting Hill Music

The Molotovs have signed a global publishing deal with Notting Hill Music, as they aim for a third No.1 in a row in the physical singles charts.

The deal will see the company manage the fast-rising stars' catalogue, with debut album Wasted On Youth set to be released on January 30 on Marshall Records.

Siblings Mathew and Issey Cartlidge have played more than 600 gigs despite being aged just 17 and 19. The punk outfit recently headlined a sold-out show at the Electric Ballroom and they today release their third single, 'Rhythm Of Yourself', aiming for a third vinyl No.1.

Issey said: "We're delighted to be with a company that has worked with the likes of Buzzcocks and Paul Weller. We're so proud of the album, Wasted On Youth, but we have lots of songs already racked up and this is just the start for The Molotovs."

John Saundserson, head of creative at Notting Hill Music, said: "I first met Matt and Issey from The Molotovs almost a year ago, when their amazing manager, Ant Andrews, introduced us at their fantastic gig at Dingwalls. They asked who I was and I told them: 'I'm your future publisher.'

"One year later...here we are. The Molotovs are one of the most exciting and electrifying bands

I've ever seen, with an energy and attitude that truly stands out in today's music scene. I'm absolutely thrilled and proud to welcome them to the Notting Hill Music family."
