The IMPF Global Music Summit receives honour at the AUPA! Awards

The Summit recently finished its fourth edition, attracting 650 executives from around the world.

 

The IMPF Global Music Summit Palma has been honoured at AUPA! Awards in Bilbao, Spain. 

The AUPA! Awards are the closing highlight of BIME Bilbao (Bizkaia International Music Experience) - the annual music industry gathering, bringing together professionals, artists, and institutions from Europe and Latin America. 

The AUPA! Awards were launched within BIME to recognise outstanding contributions in the music sector — highlighting inclusion, innovation, creativity, sustainability, and social impact.

The IMPF Global Music Summit is the winner in this year’s “Outstanding Music Publishing Achievement” category. 

IMPF recently completed its fourth edition of the Summit in Palma, which attracted 650 delegates, independent music publishing companies and related businesses from around the world. 

IMPF President Annette Barrett said:
“We are honoured to receive this award. The IMPF Global Music Summit was created by publishers, for publishers — and above all, for the songwriters and composers we represent. Without the song, there is no recording, no concert, no industry. Music publishers work every day to ensure creators who write the song and compose the music are supported, valued, and paid. Every part of the music ecosystem must be fairly rewarded, or our creators and culture suffer. This award is for everyone who makes the Summit a success: our member publishers, songwriters, partners, and friends of IMPF.
