Silent auction open to all with unique items available

Teenage Cancer Trust is bringing together women in the creative industries to raise essential funds for young people with cancer and bring awareness to the important mission of the charity.

Taking place this afternoon at Karma Sanctum Soho and hosted by the UK's "Queen of Comedy", Miss Rory, Ladies Who Rock will bring together the most influential and inspirational women and non-binary individuals from across the creative industries. The exclusive event sold out within a week of going on-sale and hopes to become an annual event.

In addition to ticket proceeds, the event will feature an online auction where attendees and non-attendees alike can bid to buy unique and exclusive items, bespoke leather jacket, reiki session, Noel Gallagher signed trainers, a pro golfing experience, Christina Aguilera tickets and so much more...

Details of the auction, which starts at Midday on Wednesday 20th July, and closes at Friday 22nd July 4.55pm. Details can be found here: ttps://ww1.emma-live.com/LadiesWhoRock/?home_page

Teenage Cancer Trust's vital services for young people with cancer are entirely dependent on fundraised income and every day seven young people in the UK (aged 13-24) hear the devastating words "you have cancer", turning their lives upside down.

The money raised will now be used by Teenage Cancer Trust to fund specialist hospital units, nurses and youth workers across the UK that provide outstanding age-appropriate care and emotional support to those in need.

The ladies who rock behind the lunch include Angie Jenkinson, CEO of the Graham Wylie Foundation, Sammy Andrews, Founder, Deviate Digital, Annabella Coldrick, Chief Executive, MMF and Vanessa Bakewell of META while sponsors include Live Nation and Ghost Vodka.

Angie Jenkison, Teenage Cancer Trust:
"Cancer is tough.  But Teenage Cancer Trust's work puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond. We do that by funding expert nurses, support teams, and hospital units. And we're the only UK charity dedicated to providing this specialised nursing.

"But we're completely dependent on donations for all of this work, which is why we're so very grateful to be supported by Sammy, Vanessa, Annabella and all the incredible Ladies Who Rock who are joining us at the Karma Sanctum for this event.

"A huge and heartfelt thank you from everyone at Teenage Cancer Trust to all involved."

Sammy, Deviate Digital said:
"I'd been aware of the incredible work of Teenage Cancer Trust for many years but it wasn't until I visited one of their treatment centres a few years ago that I knew we needed to support them at all costs. The work they do for young people living with cancer is truly life changing.

Bringing together some of the most brilliant women across the creative industries to raise invaluable funds is an absolute honour. We are also incredibly grateful to our sponsors including the wonderful Andy Copping at Live Nation for supporting this event and TCT widely. Forever grateful to everyone who steps up to the plate to support this vital organisation. "

Annabella Coldrick, Chief Executive, MMF said:
"So pleased to be supporting this important event for a worthy charity by hanging out with some incredible women who totally rock! Hoping we raise lots of money for TCT as well as celebrating the women who make the music industry turn."

Vanessa Bakewell, Client Partner at Meta said:
'I am delighted to partner with the Teenage Cancer Trust on this event. So grateful for all they do and their amazing mission and purpose. The difference their organisation makes to young people across the UK is invaluable. After two years without events due to the pandemic, it's even more important we all come together as often as we can to support. Thankful to everyone who is performing, attending and contributing to the event today'
