Symphonic Distribution Unveils ‘Your Story 2025’ Year-End Recap for Clients, Pays Over $100M to Independent Artists in 2025

This customizable page makes it easy for Symphonic clients to track achievements, share milestones, and boost engagement with fans. Stats include top streams by song, total streams in the year, number of tracks released in the year, total playlist pickups, top streams by region, top views on YouTube videos, total videos on YouTube using an artist’s music, total videos on TikTok using an artist’s music, and much more.

In addition, Symphonic is wrapping up the year by sharing some of its own accomplishments as it prepares for its 20th anniversary in 2026. Chief among these is over $100 million in payments to independent artists over the course of 2025, as well as over 2 million songs distributed and over 135,000 playlist pickups.
Symphonic also contributed to a variety of viral moments around the world for its artists in 2025, including the Billboard Hot 100 debut of Imogen Heap’s “Headlock” 20 years after its release; a #1 placement on the Spotify’s Global Viral chart for Macario Martínez’s “Sueña lindo, corazón,” leading to over 28 million views and 1 million listeners; viral success in Vietnam for Chance Emerson’s “House We Share,” leading to a tour that sold out in days; a #1 YouTube Cambodia placement for All3rgy feat. Jenna Norodom’s “សូរិយា (Soriyă),” leading to over 1 million views in 48 hours; over 82 million views for Mickey Callisto’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” after a Paris flash mob went global; over 1.1 billion TikTok views for Kate Havnevik’s “Unlike Me,” leading to a placement on the Spotify’s Viral 50 USA chart; and #1 Spotify Brazil and YouTube Trending placements for MC Ryan SP & Crew’s “Posso Até Não Te Dar Flores.”
Beyond these viral moments, Symphonic’s efforts helped its clients land 10 Grammy Award nominations this year in categories such as Best Jazz Performance, Best Recording Package, Best Music Video, Best Reggae Album, Best Classical Compendium, Best Classical Solo Vocal Album, and more. Symphonic also launched its fourth annual Women Empowered+ Mentorship Program in March 2025, making over 200 new matches between mentors and mentees and reaching its 1,000th match this year. This year’s mentors included leaders from major companies such as Live Nation, YouTube, Warner Music Group, The MLC, The Recording Academy, and more. Mentees came from around the globe, spanning the U.S., Mexico, Latin America, South America, Europe, and Africa.
International expansion continued to be a key theme for Symphonic throughout 2025, and it has established a strong presence in 10 new territories. These include Chile, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. Symphonic also expanded its A&R Client Development Teams in Asia and Europe with five new hires each, partnered with High Ground Music and hired Victor Roque to expand its presence in Puerto Rico, brought on Ed Poston as Head of A&R, and more.
Symphonic also continued to host various events around the globe, reaching nearly 8,000 attendees over the course of the year. This included a Creative Connections event in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, one of the first music industry events in the city, and expanding their networking series to Lisbon and Dublin.
The company also posted over 200 articles on the Symphonic Blog, produced over 700 Instagram Reels, sent over 6.5 million educational emails, and launched its Masterclass webinar series, which has already reached over 6,000 attendees.
