Stephen Budd Music and Sound Collective announce partnership

The long established record producer managers business Stephen Budd Music (SBM) and the Songwriter/Producer/Artist managers outfit Sound Collective (SC) have today announced a unique representation partnership.

Hailing over 20 years of experience, SBM’s influential roster of producers, songwriters, engineers and mixers such as Mike Hedges (Manic Street Preachers, U2, Dido), Nick Zinner (Songhoy Blues, Santigold, The Bots) and Valgier Sigurdsson (Bjork, Feist, Kate Nash) have worked with some of the most successful and creative artists in the world. More recently, Sound Collective has built formidable reputation in the last 3 years as a creative and highly pro-active company that currently manages over 15 prominent songwriters, producers and writers including Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue, HRVY, Sigma, Sígala), Danny Shah (David Guetta, The Vamps, Sigma, Sigala) and Paul Whalley (James Smith, Lost Frequencies, Billy Lockett).

Both companies will add each other’s client list to their own, allowing each other to jointly market their collective rosters to the industry.

The deal was suggested by Cooking Vinyl Music’s Ryan Farley with whom Sound Collective have a Publishing Joint Venture and Budd has an A&R consultancy on the label side.
