Spotify’s launches Music Matchmaker to help Media Land find love
01 February 2016 - Press releaseToday Spotify announces the launch of the Music Matchmaker app, a pan-European agency campaign which aims to help singletons in Media Land to find love and friendship this Valentine’s Day. Music Matchmaker - which is available in 12 European countries* - asks people in media agencies which music they love or loathe, and then matches based on their music taste with people both within their own agency and in other agencies in their country.
Valentine’s Music Matchmaker - which was created specifically for the
media community - was first launched in 2015, when it was a huge success with more than 2000 people in media agencies. This year’s campaign will see the campaign targeting an even wider group of thousands of media agency staff in hundreds of agencies in Europe.
Spotify’s Music Matchmaker will launch with a targeted campaign on the 4th of February. To get matched, simply visit spotify.com/musicmatchmaker, enter the campaign password, and tell it where you are located, and select your favourite music from a list of choices.
Music Matchmaker will then match you based on your music taste with three females and three males
at your own agency, and three males and three females in other media agencies within your country. Once you have been matched with your perfect musical partners, you can then communicate via email, in order discuss your shared musical tastes, or perhaps to make dinner plans for Valentine’s Day.
