Spinnup, the distribution platform originally launched in Sweden in 2013 by Universal Music Group, has accelerated its presence in the UK under the wing of the chart-topping and award-winning Universal Music On Demand (UMOD) label in the UK, establishing new ventures and partnerships in 2019, as well as increasing its breadth of service and attracting a stellar base of new users.

Unique to the platform, Spinnup also operates as a cutting-edge A&R tool with the team at UMOD constantly listening to new music uploaded. UMOD have been busy taking the platform on the road giving artists the opportunity to perform live at the likes of The Great Escape, Soho Music Month, mainstage at Sundown Festival and a bespoke urban talent contest hosted by Kiss FM Breakfast Show presenter Daisy Maskell and legendary Kiss FM / ITV2 hip-hop DJ Shortee Blitz in Shoreditch.
