As the world awaits her new album announcement the critically-acclaimed actress, Capitol Records recording artist, songwriter, and model makes a move to propel her next chapter with help from creative indie Third Side Music

As the world patiently anticipates new music from Sky Ferreira, the iconic Capitol Records artist has signed with global independent music publisher Third Side Music (TSM) to help propel the exciting next chapter of her career.  

Almost a decade since her debut studio album Night Time, My Time (Capitol), the trailblazer has teased that new music is on the horizon, and she is now working closely with creative powerhouse Third Side Music, which will represent her new song catalog worldwide, develop collaborations with other artists, songwriters and producers, as well as foster unique opportunities in film, TV, advertising, trailers, games and more. The company is well-recognized cross borders for its music-obsessed, creative publishing operation centered on an "artist-first" attitude.    

Ferreira was signed to the exclusive global publishing administration deal by Brontë Jane, Third Side Music's VP Creative/Director of A&R based in Los Angeles. She joins the company's diverse and eclectic roster, a cadre of rising stars and GRAMMY-nominated artists, songwriters and composers such as SOFI TUKKER, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Blonde Redhead, Colin Stetson, and BADBADNOTGOOD, who Brontë Jane recently re-signed to the company.

While the momentum of social media and internet buzz continues to swell, little information has yet been released for Ferreira's long-awaited follow-up to the critically acclaimed Night Time, My Time (Capitol). The album was recognized as one of the best of the decade by many outlets such as All Music, Billboard, Paste, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Spin and Stereogum. Ferreira released her last single "Downhill Lullaby" in March 2019 and on March 31, 2022 she teased on YouTube (https://youtu.be/QvBBpcFG1Tw) and her social media that something is coming soon. 

As a songwriter and artist, Ferreira has previously collaborated with heavyweight writers and producers including Greg Kurstin, Billy Steinberg, Ariel Rechtshaid, Bloodshy & Avant, Magnus, Lidehäll, Shirley Manson, Jon Brion, Justin Raisen, Jeremiah Raisen, Jordan Benik, Dev Hynes, and Nick Zarin-Ackerman. She has also toured with artists Miley Cyrus, Blondie and Garbage, and Vampire Weekend.
