Sentric signs sub pub deal with Marshall Records

Marshall Records has inked a new sub-publishing deal that will see Sentric Music Group handle all of the label’s publishing interests.

The agreement will mean that Marshall’s publishing roster will benefit from Sentric’s industry-leading administration infrastructure, team and technology. The deal will also give Sentric’s award-winning sync team access to the Marhsall roster for creative opportunities.

Among artists included in the deal are Norfolk-born classic rockers Bad Touch, who have just released what is arguably one of the best new Christmas singles of the season ‘A Gift For You’ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR9ts5HcJjE

Other artists signed to Marshall Records that fall under this deal for publishing include The Bottom Line, Inklings, King Creature and Thousand Thoughts.

Launched in January 2017, Marshall Records is the label arm of Marshall Amplification.

Based in London’s famous Berwick Street, it is also home to alt-rock favourites REWS, Press To MECO, noisy Irish legends Therapy? and more.

Marshall Records Label Head, Steve Tannett, said: “I’ve always admired what Chris and Peter have built at Sentric and, with the growth of the label and its international reach, we felt that Sentric were perfectly placed to help us find new and exciting synch opportunities, and increase our visibility and efficiency in all areas of music usage. The Marshall brand is turning 60 in 2022 and we will be working with Sentric throughout next year towards some big things to help celebrate such an incredible milestone.”

Sentric Music Group Creative Director, Pete Mcamley, said: “Myself and the team at Sentric are delighted to have partnered with Marshall Records, and we look forward to enhancing their publishing arm with our unparalleled administration. The roster of exciting artists at Marshall also means our creative and sync teams have a lot to get their teeth stuck into. I foresee lots of opportunities arising as the partnership develops with Steve and the team.”
